The Statement of Intent is a key accountability document.  It is tabled in parliament by the Minister of Justice.  It sets out the outcomes that the Electoral Commission contributes to, the context in which it operates, the intervention logic it uses to develop and deliver programmes, anticipated activities for the period covered, and anticipated deliverables and financial performance for the first financial year covered.
