The Christchurch East electorate is based on the communities of Southshore, Dallington, Burwood, Brooklands, Parklands, New Brighton, Bexley and Aranui.
Summary of Reasons
The existing Christchurch East electorate is 4% over quota but projected to be very stable. Bromley has been moved to Banks Peninsula electorate to meet its quota requirements.
