General Description
The Manurewa electorate comprises Manurewa (north of Weymouth and Alfriston Roads), and includes Wiri, Homai, Manukau City Centre and The Gardens.
Summary of Reasons
The existing Manurewa electorate is 14% above quota and projected to grow strongly relative to quota. The area south of Weymouth Road moves to the new electorate of Papakura. The Commission has made consequential adjustments by transferring The Gardens and the area around Jeffs Road from Clevedon and the area around Tangaroa College from Manukau East.
