The Rimutaka electorate is based on Upper Hutt City and extends to include Stokes Valley, Taita, Kelson, Belmont, and part of Avalon.
Summary of Reasons
The existing Rimutaka electorate is near quota (+1%). The inclusion of Belmont (from Ohariu-Belmont) and the exclusion of Naenae (to Hutt South) leaves the electorate population slightly under quota (-0.8%).
