General Description
The Wellington Central electorate comprises the central and inner suburbs of Wellington City, together with Karori and Wadestown. This electorate also includes Brooklyn and Mt Cook.
Summary of Reasons
The existing Wellington Central electorate is +7 % over quota. This excess has been primarily addressed by shifting Crofton Downs into Ohariu. The Commission has also made an additional minor adjustment with Rongotai electorate (Wellington Hospital).
