A by-election will be held in the Northcote electorate on Saturday 9 June to choose a new local Member of Parliament. Only those who are enrolled in the Northcote electorate will be able to vote.
“If you live in the Northcote electorate, make sure you’re enrolled and ready to vote in the by-election,” says Mandy Bohté, National Manager of Enrolment and Community Engagement.
“Voters who are correctly enrolled before 6 May will be sent an EasyVote pack in the mail. It’ll have information about when, where and how to vote, and include an EasyVote card which will make voting easier.”
Voters who enrol after 6 May will need to cast a special vote, which takes a bit longer.
