This guidance does not cover every aspect of electoral law and procedure. For further information, you should consult the Electoral Act 1993 and the Electoral Regulations 1996, your party organisation, or seek legal advice.  The Chief Electoral Office and your local Returning Officer are also happy to discuss any difficulties.
