Elections NZ roadshow 2008

Regional workshops from the Electoral Commission (mainly in May and June 2008) aimed to give skills, knowledge and motivation to people working with those least likely to enrol and vote. Thirteen-year-olds set to 'vote' in record numbers

More than 24,000 year nine students from across New Zealand will be among the first to ‘cast their votes’ in the 8 November general election through Kids Voting, a programme educating and enthusing voters of the future with real life experiences of the campaign and simulated election processes.  Read more »
