Voters outside polling booth, 1925

Voters queue in the spring sunshine outside an Auckland city polling booth on 4 November 1925. New Zealand elections, especially since the late nineteenth century, have generally taken place in a relaxed, festive atmosphere, free from fear of intimidation and violence.
