Voter/non-voter satisfaction survey 2005 general election

Post-election surveys of voter experience of the 2005 General Election show a high level of satisfaction with the service received. The Chief Electoral Office undertook a suvey of voters and non-voters from the 2005 general election.  For each question within the survey a comparison was made of the attitudes for Māori and non-Māori and 18-24 year olds. A survey of voters and non-voters with a disability was also conducted after the 2005 general election.   Read more »

Satisfaction with the voting process for the 2002 general election - voter survey

Following the 2002 general election, an independent survey was conducted of voters and non-voters.  Overall, voters were satisified by the service provided by the Chief Electoral Office.   Read more »
